American Foxhound

The English Foxhound is the prototype for many of the scent hounds, including the American Foxhound. As the English colonized the New World, they brought with them their love of hunting and their English Foxhounds, and the American Foxhound evolved in response to the weather, terrain and other environmental factors in the Americas.
